Our Community Promise

At Local Discount Cards, we don’t believe in doing anything that won’t have a positive impact on our local communities and social environment. Every product or service we provide has been built around our goals for civic responsibility - if something isn’t meaningfully beneficial for all parties involved (directly and indirectly), then we aren’t interested in pursuing it. 

With the help of our fundraising clients, their customers, and merchants in our Merchant Directory, we donate 15% of our revenues to the local community. We ask for help from those we do business with because we find that they have a much more intimate relationship with their community than we do. They know better where their community suffers most, then we provide the resources for a meaningful solution. We prefer to leave religious and political donations to private individuals, and we shy away from general contributions to non-profits and local shelters. Instead, we want to help purchase art supplies for local kindergarten teachers, or provide recycling containers and drinking fountains in a nearby park. Just a couple ideas, but we know our partners can help us come up with even better solutions.
